Everything you want to know about Vitadote® Shilajit – from use and storage to quality and shipping. Is your question not listed? Email us at info@shilajitkaufen.com.
Shilajit is a natural, resin-like substance that forms over centuries in high mountain regions. It naturally contains minerals and trace elements such as iron, calcium, magnesium, selenium and manganese, as well as fulvic and humic acids.
None – they are two names for the same substance. “Shilajit” comes from the Ayurvedic tradition, “Mumijo” is the common name in Russia and Central Asia.
Take 0.33 g (about the size of a grain of rice to a pea, using the spatula provided) 2–3 times daily. Let it dissolve under the tongue or stir it into non-chlorinated water or another drink of up to 39 °C.
Take 2 tablets (400 mg) twice daily, ideally 30–60 minutes before a meal, with lukewarm water, herbal tea or warm milk (below 39 °C).
Higher temperatures can affect the natural composition of the resin. Lukewarm is fine – hot coffee or tea straight from the machine is not.
Every batch of Vitadote® Shilajit is analysed in the laboratory and standardised on its fulvic acid content (76–83%). A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is available per batch. Genuine resin also dissolves completely in lukewarm water without sandy residue.
Yes. Every batch is tested for lead, cadmium, mercury and arsenic against EU limits. This matters: untested shilajit from unknown sources regularly shows elevated heavy-metal levels.
The resin is harvested in the high-altitude regions of the Altai and Himalayan mountains; the tablets are made from Altai shilajit from Kazakhstan. After harvesting, the raw material is purified and tested.
Cool, dry and away from direct sunlight, out of reach of young children. The UV-protected glass jar helps preserve the resin’s natural state.
Shilajit resin is a natural product that responds to temperature: it becomes firmer in a cool room and softer in summer. This is normal and says nothing about the quality.
The resin is 100% plant-based, vegan, gluten-free and GMO-free. The tablets are also vegan and gluten-free, but contain small amounts of coconut oil – please note this if you have a coconut allergy.
We advise against taking shilajit during pregnancy or while breastfeeding without consulting your doctor first.
If you take medication (for example blood thinners, thyroid or blood-pressure medication) or have a condition such as gout or iron overload, discuss use with your doctor or pharmacist first.
A 30 g jar of resin lasts about 30 days (3× daily) to 45 days (2× daily). A package of 120 tablets lasts 30 days at 4 tablets per day, or 60 days at 2 per day.
Orders are processed within 1–2 working days and shipped with track & trace. You have a 30-day right of withdrawal – see our shipping & returns page for details.
